Couples Restorative Yoga Workshop

Do Something Special Together! How do we show our love? Is it in flowers, gifts, and chocolates? Or is it the time that we share with one another?

Come and enjoy this unique experience where you get to learn how to love and nurture your partner by creating a space for them to relax and unwind.

By using the support of props, you will be able to guide your partner into yoga poses that induce a blissful state of rest and rejuvenation.

This experimental class will teach practical techniques to use at home and the workshop will end with a guided restorative practice.

Yoga for Beginners

4 Week Series starting Jan 10 - Jan 31 on Tuesdays: Offered in afternoon (11a - 12p) or evening (7:45p - 8:45p)

Ever wonder where to start with yoga? Have you taken a class but then realize that there is so much going on and all at the same time? What is Shavasana? Are my feet in the right place? Why are there so many warriors? How do I breathe?

The Intro to Yoga Workshop Series allows you to learn yoga in a way that you can’t in a regular class. With hands-on attention, slow progressions, and modifications, you will be able to learn poses, sequences, breath, yoga lingo, and applicable yogic philosophy that will leave you feeling confident to tackle any yoga class. The last session will be a fully-lead yoga class that will allow students to draw on everything they learned in the previous weeks.

In this drop-in class, you will review and practice one pose that will be tailored perfectly to support each individual.

Learn how to set up a classically supported Child’s Pose with the use of blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps. Learn the relevance of forward folds and how to use them to reduce stress and anxiety.
